MOSAIC: Motivating Original Stories and Inspiring Artful Creation

MOSAIC is a seven-week online guided writing workshop designed to encourage writers to explore diverse genres, experiment with styles, and create unique narratives within a supportive community. Building on the legacy stories unearthed in SAGE, you’ll deepen your writing skills while exploring multiple genres. This workshop features group story sharing, allowing you to connect with fellow writers as you continue to excavate and discover the writer within you.
Classes are kept small, 3-6 writers. Workshop time is set for two and a half hours.
Here is how Mosaic guided workshop is crafted:

From week one to week three, you will receive life story ideas, guidance, and a broad theme on which to write a four-page story, (two thousand words) about your life.

During the first half of each workshop, there will be guided discussions, exercises, questions and answers, writing activities, educational videos and readings as well as an introduction to the following week's theme.
The second half of the workshop will be spent reading and sharing your themed legacy story. However, you only share what you are comfortable sharing.
From week four to week seven, You will explore writing in multiple genres. You will write a four-page story (two thousand words) on themed writing activity.
During the first half of each workshop, there will be guided discussions, exercises, questions and answers, writing activities, educational videos and readings as well as an introduction to the following week's theme.
The second half of the workshop will be spent reading and sharing your story. However, you only share what you are comfortable sharing.
Themed writing prompts, exercises, inspirational, and educational videos, and articles will be emailed out at the end of each workshop session, for you to complete during the week.
